Blair has over 20 years of in-depth and practical instrumentation & control experience. After completing his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at Curtin University, he commenced his career at BHP Iron Ore in Port Hedland. He then went on to pursue opportunities in the copper/gold industry in Indonesia and then oil & gas in Australia, Thailand, China, Malaysia and Singapore. Blair gained valuable experience and insight into all aspects of instrument and control system design, working as a site maintenance engineer. As a project manager, he has since applied his practical systems knowledge and delivered dozens of successful instrumentation & control projects, from concept through to commissioning. Blair excels at supervising diverse offshore work teams to deliver complex, critical projects. He is a meticulous hot cutover specialist and enjoys the challenges that these projects bring.
